Hermanos Gasol, dos cracks / Gasol brothers, two phenoms
Entre ayer y hoy se ha sabido que Pau i Marc han sido elegidos para estar en el All Star Game i el Rookie Challenge respectivamente, y por segunda temporada consecutiva. Como “espectador” creo que es una gran noticia y como amigo suyo estoy muy orgulloso que los dos Gasol estén el mes que viene en Dallas. Su temporada está siendo magnífica (Pau, a pesar de la mala suerte con las lesiones), y son dos jugadores vitales para sus equipos respectivos. Creo que este es un reconocimiento totalmente merecido y me alegro mucho.
La temporada pasada tuve la suerte de estar en Phoenix y coincidir con los dos , con Pau en el concurso de mates y con Marc en el partido de rookies. Este año no podrá ser, me quedaré en Portland entrenando y, claro, viéndoles a los dos por la tele! A ver si alguno de los dos consigue el MVP del partido.

The last two days it has been announced that Pau and Marc have been selected to participate in the All Star Game and the Rookie Challenge respectively, and for the second straight year. As a “fan” it¡s great news and as a friend I’m very proud that the Gasol brothers will be in Dallas next month. They’ve had a great season so far (in spite of injuries in Pau’s case) and they are key players to their teams. I think they deserve this recognition and I’m very happy for them.
Last season I was lucky enough to be in Phoenix with both of them. Pau helped me in the dunk contest and Marc played with me as a rookie. This year I won’t be able to make it, I will stay in Portland practicing and, of course, watching them on TV! Let’s see If one of them can be the game’s MVP.
